Twice Bitten

Annie Parsell and Mat Wooley are Twice Bitten.
Two voices, two guitars, and two hats.
They formed this duo in 2009, and have been playing locally, interstate, and overseas ever since.
Their music is defined by their vocal harmonies, and folk/country style.

Matt and Annies repertoire consists of original and some tastefully treated traditional and cover songs.
These are featured on their cd Now is the Time For Whisky.

Mat has been playing folk music for ten years in bands such as Rakish Paddy, To’ Rags, and the Borstal Boys.
He is an accomplished and experienced solo performer.
Mat also plays mandolin.

Annie has been part of the Tasmanian folk scene for many years, singing and playing piano accordian in Finnegan’s Wake/Tantallion, women in Black and To’ Rags.

Annie also plays in duos with Rose MaCaulay and Peter Hicks.

Twice Bitten will perform their original songs as well
as their favourite folk songs and tunes.
