The 'Town of Topiary' maintains over 100 imaginative topiary characters along the main street.
History
The town was built on the back of its high-quality limestone cement, which was used to build the Sydney Harbour Bridge, much of early Melbourne, and many of the great construction projects around Australia.
Note the extraordinarily wide main street, designed so the bullock teams of old could turn around in one-sweep.
Markets
The Railton Market is held inside and outside Kings Hall, Railton, and attracts up to 40 stalls. It is held every three months, Feb, May, Aug and Nov. With a wide range of hand-crafted treasures, fresh produce and plants, it is the ideal place to meet up with friends and grab a bargain.

Railton is located 10 mins from Sheffield travelling North on the B14 Sheffield Road, and 10 mins south of Latrobe on the B13 Railton Road.
Railton is RV friendly.
